On Thursday April 3, the Presidents Breakfast Club will provide a special “PBC at Night.” We will have a 6:00 p.m. evening venue at Venturef0rth in Center City at 417 N. 8th Street. Venturef0rth is an urban campus and co-working community of Philadelphia tech startups. Currently home to over two dozen early-stage companies, its mission is to do whatever it takes to enable the region’s startups to succeed. It is designed as a key on-ramp to the tech ecosystem for entrepreneurs new to Philadelphia. In addition to a community of like-minded peers, it provides access to investors and entrepreneurs-in-residence.
The speaker will be Elliot Menschik, the founder and leader of Venturef0rth. He is an Adjunct Associate Professor of the Engineering Entrepreneurship Program in the School of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Pennsylvania. He is the founder and managing director of Acuity Health a strategic consulting practice focused on “healthtech”. He also devotes some time to advising early-stage technology companies including as a mentor at DreamIt Ventures in Philadelphia and NYC.
